Agent Verification

This service is absolutely free!

Ask us about an agent and we'll tell you if he or she has established a public record, and if we have had any negative reports on the agent's business practices. Not having a public record doesn't mean the agent is not legit, but unless the agent got started yesterday, it should make you very cautious about becoming involved. Real agents make a lot of deals, and talk about them! Click HERE to begin.

Customized Fingerprint Report

This Service costs $360.00

Our most popular and most effective agent service which has got many of our clients started on the road to literary success. The report includes detailed advice on query submission, positioning what you are doing in the market as it is right now, and the handpicked names of six to eight top-of-the-heap and absolutely legit agents who are in the hunt and right for the work you're doing. Click HERE for more.

The New Agent List

This report costs $110.00

Study the record of over forty agents who have either opened their own agency since 2006, or begun a list with an agency for which they did not work before. By definition we have less data on these new agents, but there's a deal or two for each of them, often more. A careful reading will begin to give you a feeling for what the agent is good at and responds to. Another important factor is that they're all "real" agents. No upfront money (we take them off the list if we find out they make any such charges). The premise is that not having as extensive a client list means that they may be a little more receptive to new work. Click HERE for more.

And remember one thing when you seek out the ideal literary agent to represent you - real agents don't charge fees up front! The rogues that do NEVER get on to our database.
