Solution: she agreed to change her name, and the name of her dog. The website strapline was "Bridget Jones meets Wall Street". Our video trailer was what the Brits call a bit of a piss-take. The website was packed with more incentives than you could shake a stick at. Then we threw the lot at the press and broadcast media. When she landed her second TV spot, and her dog started writing its own blog, we knew our Sally had pulled it off.
Result: Google #1. Amazon best-seller. Well, you'd have done the same if it was your sister. (Editor's note, the fact that Sally Nicoll is the sister of one of the bosses of Writers Direct is purely incidental.)
